what tire size are those with the stock chrome 17s riding on. I currently have the stock gs400 17" chrome rims with 245/45/17 tires on them.
i feel the ride is to harsh as i can feel almost every bump due to these low profile tires.
i don't know much about tires so please help me out.
i like the low profile look but is there a next level i can get for a less bumpy/ harsh ride. i think i saw my friend with the same wheels with 205/50/17.
please what are my options in tire sizes with these wheels. please with each size option anyone suggests, please also tell me what kind of ride to expect if i get that option.

Ouch, 205/50-17 - would be smaller in diameter and much narrower than what you have... 225/50-17 would work though...

Personally, I would stay same tire size, as that is most likely not your problem, and find a good tire... In a situation like this, 9 times out of 10 it is tire selection that is the issue, not size...
