Seriously, the road noise might be a little louder than the stock 17's but they aren't bad at all. I haven't driven that much but there isn't that great of a difference anyways, you have your stereo on and so it's all good. I hvae no clue about 20's though.

I would go with coilovers if you can afford it, it offers more custombility, i have the Tein HA's as well as a few others on this board and they work great, i've had it for over 1.5 years now and they are working well. No complaints here and i heard street price for them is about 1200 or so now.

Others might be able to confirm this but I don't think you're going to get that low with a shock/spring combo. Most of the cars you see with the "tucked" look are on coilovers. I know some people cut springs but I've heard that is a serious no-no.

There are tons, Apex'i, Tein, Toms, TRD, H&R, and there are tons of japanese coilovers which costs well over $2000.

Spending $2K on coilovers is not uncommon...most of the upper end systems are above $2K...

As for the ride on 20's, I don't think it'll be much different from 19's on a GS...I have 20's and I don't have any complaints...gotta love that Mark Levinson system...

Chopping springs or heating them is a BIG no-no...you really screw up your ride for the most part but if you have someone who knows what they're doing, you can cut springs but I don't recommend it. Do it right and get coilovers...

I like coilovers so much, I'm getting a second set!

My H&R's are for sale in case you're interested...check the classified under the GS section...

The ONLY, and I mean ONLY reason why I'm selling my coilovers is because I have worked out a deal with another manufacturer for different set of coilovers. That's the only reason. Otherwise, I would keep these...the H&R's are some of the best coilovers made...which is why I bought 'em...

As for the "new" set, they cost even MORE than the H&R's so by that, you can automatically figure out that they're not Teins...I don't want into any more detail than that for now...
