Default Supra TT RIMS 275/40 or 285/40 Which Would You Use

I just got a set of SUPRA TT Rims again and this time around I would like to go with 285/40/17 an 255/40/17 with spacers? What Spacers would work with this set-up? I don't want to roll my fenders. Does anyone have this set-up? How is it with the 255/40/17? I will be putting on all the OEM suspension parts from the SUPRA TT. Would it be better to use 245/45/17 and 275/40/17? I am going to drop in a 2jzgte in 2008 so power is not a problem. I want to plan ahead. What tire and Spacer combination ? Having the TT rims flush with the fenders are a most important? Any in sight or PIC of this set-up.

i think 255 in the front might be pushing it (correct me if im wrong someone) i want to say 245 should be fine i did 235. ive seen some people done 285 in the rear, but like most people they put some 275.

My brother was driving on 255/40/17 in the front and 275/40/17 in the rear on his super slammed SC. They fit but they rub. The side wall needs to be shorter and since they dont make shorter sidewalls for a 255 tire we are going to have to go with like a 235/35/17 for the front.

As for the rear, we have like a millimeter of clearance between the fender and the tire. Spacers are really not recommended even if you roll your fenders. With a 275 in the rear the tire sits flush with the wheel. 285, 295, and 305 make the tire crown and I doubt you'll get any clearance.

TURBO819 what suspension are you using for your SC?

I am looking to use the SUPRA TT Struts & Springs & Sway Bars. I don't want to go too crazy with the suspension. I think upgrading to the Supra suspension is a good set up for the basic SC Drivers. What would you recommend.

Stick with 275/40.
