We're running general exclaims on the is350...
Bought them for the ultra high tread wear rating and lowest price.
There is a little more road noise on certain types of roads... However, i can't really compare it to stock.
235/35/19 rear
275/30/19 front
Don't get these if you want good looking tires... =)
The tread pattern looks like any other all season setup...

I'm running the General Exclaim UHP tires on my setup and have had no problems with them. I bought them mainly for the cost and I don't do any driving on the track with this setup. I see no point of spending extra $$$ on sticker tires when you won't take advantage of it, I'm not saying these tires are crappy. I've pushed these tires on the street without any problems...

I don't know about you guys, but I have always been very big on good quality tires, as they are the only thing that your car ever makes contact with the road surface with. So I always purchase good tires, and for tires, you really get what you pay for.

i dont' get why people do this sometimes.. you guys spend mad money on rims and suspensino work and yet when it comes to tires you guys go for the cheapest or moderate route when in fact it's the most important piece of your vehicle

Whoa!!! Calm down fellas haha I was asking for my brother haha, well he got them anyways, I just wanted to see if anyone here has used them and if they have had any problems with them. I myself agree with cspec and others about tires. I will be going with probably the Falken FK452's, I have always been a fan of Toyo but I felt like change any inputs on the Falkens?

This is the reason why some tire manufacturers put crazy prices on some tires....cause people think cause they are more $$$ that they are tons better. I had them on my GS and they are a very good tire and you can't beat the price. FYI to the General Tire haters....they are made by Continental. Keep paying 4 times as much....

I've had them on my own car... sold them after two months and paid (Even employee cost) for a whole new set of BFG KDW's... Night and day difference - the BFG's are much stickier, corner 30% faster, and are way more predictable at the limit...
When done with these, I've been wanting to try out the RE050's, I'm never ever going back to a cheapie tire... The only "cheap" tires I've really truly liked are the Kumho MX's and the Falken RT-615's...

yes sir... best dry/wet street performance tires I've driven...
I am excited about trying out the RE050's this summer/fall though...
Other good contenders I've driven include the GS-D3 from Goodyear, Michelin Pilot Sport, Yokohama Advan Sport, Kumho MX... GS-D3's leave a little dry grip out there but their wet performance is superb... Kumho MX's are great dry grip, so-so wet, and fairly short lifespan, Pilot Sport PS2's are great all around, but pricey - very reliable, very good though... Advan Sports are good across the board too, but the BFG KDW has always surprised me - it always seems to come up with that little bit of extra needed grip, no matter whether wet or dry... I've heard equal experiences with the RE050's which is why I want to try them so badly... Its about the only ultra high performance tire I haven't driven...
quick edit - I reallllly want the BFG KD's dry weather performance, but they don't build it in my 19" size, and they are just down right scary in the wet...
