GS300 Sport Sedan Rims
I want to change the look of my GS300 rims... These darker rims that come on GS300 Sport Sedan look more aggressive and look perfect on silver car... HOw can i make mine darker?

If you have skills in painting and prep, you can do it yourself, or have a shop paint them for you. My friend painted his wheels and took many steps with great patience and they came out looking OEM quality. Lastly, you can just sell your wheels and find someone selling some SD wheels?

I can paint them, but do i have to sand it down to the surface or just put primer on them, 2 or 3 coats of paint and then clear coat.... I have painted many times, but finding the perfect paint and paint code @ Sherwin Williams will be hard...

Light sanding is all that is required
Just break the surface of the paint with some red scotchbrite pad or 1000 grit sandpaper. If you need to get rid of any curb rash, try a coarser grit. It is not necessary to sand down to bare metal.
If you already know how to paint, read no further.
Light coats are recommended and I advise painting the lug holes first and the sides of the spokes second and the flat wheel face last with each coat. In that exact order, as to avoid runs with the best possible coverage. Always paint the most difficult parts first and the easiest last.
Good luck with the project.
