Searching for the perfect Shoes...
so i am looking into some new wheels, but cannot decide what to get. although iv narrowed it down to a few, some of these wheels have a long waiting period.
my car will be dropped on Koni yellows, and Eibach pro kit. the plan is 17x8 up front with 225/45/17 and 17x9 in back with 245-255/40/17. i'm deffinantly going to roll the rear fender for that.
of these wheels which do you guys/gals prefer? and are there any suggestions regarding my desired setup? any thoughts would be helpful. thanks
ADVAN RS
ADVAN RGII
BBS LM
BBS RGR
VOLK CE28
WORK VS XX

BBS are nice wheels but I prefer JP cars go with JDM parts.
Volks are just about everywhere and I don't mind to see one more out there.
Be careful with your options here because there are mixed of multi-piece wheels and single piece forged, and I am sure the price range varies a lot.
Out of your options, I will go with WORK-VSXX, cuz it has the BBS's classic look, JDM for sure, and it is not another Volks. I believe those ADVANs are not Japan made.
Lately, I am in love with some high end single piece forged wheels without any lip. The best example here...

Don't ask, follow your heart.

haha thats funny, i just got three different opinions.
i will surely pay attention to the offsets. BBS seems to offer the best setup as far as offsets.
i dont care much for having a pretty lip on my wheels, performance comes first, leading to why i'm getting wheels and suspension before getting my paint fixed. also thats why iv stuck to 17's, 18's looks great but for an n/a car with little power adding rotational mass might be a problem. especialy if wheels are going wider.
price wise i want to keep it under 2500 just for the wheels. but if i really want it im willing to go 3k, just need to wait for another pay check for that.
you guys mind posting any pictures of your setup if its similar to mines?
thanks

what size are those? and whats the availability of them in the US?
because i might just get the VS XX if they are easier to get than the Advan. from what iv been told Advans take 6 months to get here. hopefully the VS XX is a little easier to get than 6 months, because simply i am not willing to pay full up front and wait that long.
btw do you have any more shots of that setup? i really like it.
