Default Camber Wear

Hey all,
I have 19's and have a "fat" setup with 245/40 tires in the front. I checked my tires this morning, and the inner portion of the front two tires are wearing out pretty bad. When i had my rims put on about 6 months ago, i also got an alignment, so i'm not sure why my tires are not treading evenly.

The rear tires are perfectly even, so what's going on?

Do you think i need to get another alignment because my first one wasn't any good?

Would it help if i switched to 245/35?

Need your input. thanks.

I recently had an alignment and they could not adjust it that well. It was done at a very reputable shop also (custom cars). It is hard when you are lowered and no one makes a camber kit for our cars. The shop only improved my toe and camber marginally. I was pretty aware of the situation before getting the alignment. That is why I went with Hankook Ventus VR4's in front..... treadwear: 420.

Does anyone else also have inner camber wear when lowered?

I have the Hankook Ventus K104, is that a bad tire for tread wear?

Maybe try raising the car up a bit and then getting another alignment. Exact Motorsports included front lowering blocks in front when they installed my Tein CS. It helped because I'm at 1/2 finger gap all around on 20's and the front only has very slight camber. I think there are other manufacturers who carry the same part but I don't know who. The lowering block did not fix the camber but helped reduce its effect.

whats a lowering block?

I think i might just rotate my tires from left to right in the front, and like you said raise up the front maybe a half inch, then get another alignment. hopefully that helps the awful wear.

Thanks

I think there is another name but I am not sure what it is. Yeah, the only other option we have is to flip the tires.

Hey if you are lowered on 19's, tires are only supposed to last 8k-12k? is that about right?
