Default need advice on wheel/tire fitment

need advice on a set of wheels and tires that i am considering for my 2GS.

i am lowered on tein CS to about a 1 finger gap, and my fenders are rolled (but not pulled).

tires are falken FK452 235 40 19 F/ 245 40 19 R
(yes i know the tires will have a stretch in them).

wheels are 19x9+30 F/ 19x10 +30 R.

yay or nay? should i be running a 35-series, or...?

these specs are more like it for a more aggressive vip look.
but they will stick out and not work for you due to your suspension.

unless you can get the fender close to the tire (adding -camber on its own)
and if I'm not mistaken, the CS wont get you there.

but the first specs 19x9+30 F/ 19x10 +30 R. will be fine with the mild drop the CS give.

and if you decide to go more aggressive in the future with suspension.....than run 15mm spacers on all 4 and be flush

gato: what is is your definition of "close"? no gap at all, or tucked?

tuck rear on a +15 and no gap on the +18 front(barley squeeze finger in)

but maybe on the +22 you dont have to tuck if you dont want.
and still be aggressive.

i'm running stock 17's right now (it's snowing), and the one finger gap i mentioned is incorrect... i was measuring just the rears. because the opening is lower in the back compared to the front, i actually have a 2-finger gap in the front

the most i can manage on my CS's is maybe another inch of drop... i guess i'm never going to make this work

I wouldn't go with that tire setup, sizes are mismatched.

Good write-up about offsets:

What's wrong with the tire set up and how is it mismatched? Aside from being a stretched fat set up, the difference in tire diameter is about 1/4 on a inch from front to rear. Even the popular 245/40/19 and 275/35/19 fat set up combo has a 1/5 of a inch difference in diamater.
