Anyone using a 255/40/17 tire on a GS400?
I am thinking about replacing my worn 235/45/17 tires for a set of new 255/40/17 tires on my '98 GS400. Has anyone used this size with the stock 17x8 rims. I am at stock height. Thanks in advance.

may or may not help but I have an Sc300 with the 17X8 GS430 wheels. I am running michelin pilot sport 255/40/17 all four corners with no signs of abnormal wear. Your car may be heavier but i would expect the same fitment.
