Will 18"alloys with 40mm offset fit a 98 GS300?

Hello,

I need advice,
I have been offered a great set of18x8J alloys with a 40mm offset. Will these fit a standard 98 GS300 ? Will the handling be affected?
(I believe the standard offfset for my car is 45mm).

I have 18x8.5 40mm offset on my 99 GS4 - fits great.. you shouldn't have any problems..
