Is 245/45-18 too big for 2Gen GS??

I'm needing a winter tire for wintery season - looking to get something with a cushy ride - decided to go up a bit, will a 245/45-18 fit on my 2nd Gen GS without scrubbing?

You'll have similar problems are people running 20s as this size will produce the same diameter.

so does that mean I may scrub the inside of my tires when I cut the wheel all the way?
