Default Gorilla Lug Wrench

Folks,

Not sure if this should go under maintenance or not, but since I bought this tool from Tirerack (shipping was fast) I was very pleased.

http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/tools/gor1334.jsp

What spurned me to buy this was that my RX had a flat and I couldn't get the lug nuts off with the Lexus supplied (short, bare metal) lug wrench.

Really if you don't have roadside assistance, and changing a tire is something you can do, this could mean the difference between getting your lug nuts off or not.

Auto supply and warehouse tool firms now sell 1/2 inch drive torque wrenches built in China. They're fair regarding accuracy, but they are less than $20.

If your lug nuts were torqued correctly, that is 76 Ft Lbs, you wouldn't have had problems getting them off.

Too tight lugs tend to warp the rotors, causing brake problems.

The Gorilla power wrench and the $29.99 torque wrench we sell (very accurate) are must haves for any enthusiast!
