I've had Falken Azenis, Dunlop Direzza and now Nitto Neogen's.
The Azenis had good grip in both dry and wet. Direzza's were the same as the Azenis and they were both pretty noisy.
The Nitto Neogen's I just put on today. So I'll see how they compare. The Azenis and Dunlops lasted a lil over a year for me.

I had the Nitto's once and couldn't wait to get rid of them. I gave em away after 3 months. Too noisy and hard. Also has the Azenis and gave them away after 6 months. They were quiet at first then got noisy. Also were not comfy. Never tried the Dunlops...nor any Dunlop tire. I have heard they have decent longevity but are not too quiet.
I like Michelin tires. After that, Yokohama. In fact, the Yokohama AVS ES100 is a fantastic tire for it's price. I had 2 sets and had no complaints. The AVS Db2 is also a nice tire. Michelin is he best all around tire on the market imo. That's what I buy.

I'm really suprised to hear some of the negative reviews, I have had mine on since Nov. of last year and feel that they have been a good tire. It's hard for me to give an honest reply because I put the wheels, tires, and suspension on all at the same time. I just figured the change in ride quality and sound was due to the full combination. Now you've got me thinking. Maybe next time I need tires I'll try a different brand and see if there's any improvement.

thanks guys. so what would you suggest for a 245f & 275r set up? Falkens? I had a pair on my old car and they were great. not feeling the same about Nittos now. i heard the falkens on this set up looks "fat", like the sidewalls are too large...and what about toyos???

My vote is General UHP Exclaim, Quiet, good grip, good wear. I had mine for a year and 21,000 miles on them. And the wear is better I think is indicated. I have about 7/10th tread left. Now since I up graded my suspension I have a bad negative camber that will cause me to replace them early. But for the price u cant go wrong.

Also, Falkens are made by Sumitomo Rubber which also makes Dunlop.

i personally like the design of the nitto tires,, i just think they are way too loud,, but i must admit,, they last a long long time,, so if you dont care about traction or noise,, get these cause they will last,,, i still like the hankook tires... run them on every car in the family,, from stock 16's up to 24's,, never have any problems with these tires,, and they are nice and quiet...

I just got a GS400 and it has 555's on it, I like the way they look. Seem to be a decent tire, although I must admit they do seem to be noisier than falkens 451's I had on my previous car. They are pretty popular, several people I know have em. I dont know if that would be because price, maybe longevity, possibly because of availability tho.
