Default Wheel Balance After AfterMarket Rim Install

Folks I'm getting my aftermarket rims installed tommorrow morning and would like to know if it is a MUST that I get my wheels balanced? These rims I had with my previous car and while going through some of the threads, I see that I may need
hubcentric rings. I would like to still have as much comfort in my car as possible since I drive mainly on highways and open road.

Are you buying new rims and tires? Your question is kind of confusing . If you are buying new wheels and having tires put on, yes you must get them balanced. If you are buying some pre-owned wheels, just drive on them for a while to see if they are good. You will know right away if they are out of balance. If you do have them balanced, have them done on the Hunter 9700 Road Force . It makes all the difference.

These rims and tires were bought new together last summer and honestly between last year and this spring, they been used for only 3 1/2 months. The tires are still mounted on the rims. The rims and tires were on my previous car until the accident with the deer. Hope this helps.

Got the rims put on today and had them install the hubcentric rings for them. I did not get the wheels balanced though. I drove no more then 60 MPH on a local road and noticed no problem. I drive it on the highway when I go back to work on Monday and see how it is.
