Default LS-430 wheels Q

Hi guys, I'm having trouble figuring out what wheels to get for my 01 LS 430 with UL package. I'm still debating on what to get either 18's or 19's. I've searched but still don't know which size to get, I like the look of 19's but I want to keep the comfort also so 18's come to mind. The 18 inch wheels I'm looking at are 18X8.0 with +38 offset. The 19" rims are 19x8.5 +35 in the front and 19x9.5 +45 in the rear and they are staggered which I still don't know what that means so if anyone can help me out I would really apreciate it and what would be the best size tires to get for both set up's. Thank you.

Default ...

The offsets seem pretty safe to me but I'm not an expert on the LS so hopefully someone else more knowledgeable can chime in on that.

As far as the definition of staggered is...it means different sizes/widths, ie. a typical staggered 19" set-up would look something like this, 19 x 8.5 (front) and 19 x 10 (rear)

Thanks for the explanation . Looks like the LS forum doesn't get to much traffic, but thanks again.

I have 19x9 with 245/40/19 and 19x10 with 275/35/19 on my 04 LS430 and I had them on my 01 LS430 both ULTRAS and they ride very comfortable...yes there is a little difference in the noise level, but i think it has more to do with the brand of tires than the size..

I have no complaints whatsoever... I actually wanna go 20's as I rode in a 96 LS400 (LEXKOST) with 20's and thinner tires and they ride very nice...not much difference at all...
