Default to stagger or not to stagger???

I'm thinking of these two wheels the Privat Netz or MMR GT1
See pics..

Here is my question I'm going with 19" wheels. Should I stagger.
I know it looks better but what about tire wear?
The tire shop told me its better not to stagger because you can rotate and your tires will last longer?

All right second question I was told I could go with the MMR GT1
but If I went with the Privat netz I would need spacers to clear the front calipers.. Is that bad?

You can't rotate if you go staggered, but you can flip from side to side instead. Tire wear depends the alignment and on how much negative camber you get from lowering the car.

How on earth would you flip from side to side? Tires are directional so unless you unmounted the tire from the rim, then had them remounted (about $60 to do this) then there is no way that works.

Do that 3 times through the life of your tires and you just wasted all that money you saved rotating them.

I say go w/ the staggered setup. Better handling, more traction on hard launches and a more aggressive look make it totally worth it. All in all you'll replace the back tires more often than the front (at least if you drive it like me), but the extra performance make it all worth while.

STAGGER STAGGER

The question is, what size rims are you after?

That's exactly how you would flip them. I would think that it would save you some money instead of not flipping your tires and opting to buy a whole new set. I should've mentioned that flipping your tires would increase their lifespan if you had uneven wear from negative camber (if the car is lowered). Hopefully that clarifies things a bit.

Then how would you go about rotating a staggered setup?

Yeah, in some cases people can self inflict "analysis-paralysis", just go with what you want and are willing to accept in the end.
