Default Michelins super noisy

I've got a 1995 LS400 that came with Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus tires when I bought it. For some reason, the tires are very noisy. It sounds like I am always driving over rough pavement even when I'm not. The type of road I'm driving on makes little difference to how the tires sound. They have plenty of tred left and don't appear to have a poor wear pattern. Any thoughts?

How old/miles do the tires have on them? What kind of alignment spec?

The MX4V I had on mine were pretty quiet.

Sounds strange... I had those on a Mercedes and they were very quiet. Like RA40 said, you should check other possible causes of the noise, too. Suspension bushings, alignments, etc.

Alignment. If the alignment is off and the tires wore unevenly, then you get hi/lo points in the tread causing humming noises...
