Help me decide on 19" or 20" wheel for 2nd GS
For lowered GS, between 19 and 20 inches wheel. which size will perform and look good on a gs without rubbing the fender. What do you think of this Luxe wheel? Thanks

I'll be different and say 19's......I personally want to stay with the same diameter tire so that I don't take away from performance and speedo won't be off. Only way to do that with 20's is with a 30 series in the front and 25 series in the rear (assuming you do a staggered set-up) But that will be a horrible ride...imo.

as long as you get the right sizes and offsets, you should be ok. might have some very minor rub but it's definitely nothing to worry about

what sizes and offsets do you have on your GS? Does it ride smooth with you your 20s and how low did you dropped your gs?

refer to my guide at the top of this forum, it has a lot of info on sizes and offsets. i have pretty aggressive setup on my car that requires fender work.
i drop my car low with 1/2 finger gap in the front and 0 gap in the rear. ride wise i love it, i think it's still very comofrtable, people in my car don't complain at all

Here is a somewhat vote for 19s. I've been on 18s and 20s. My car is a daily driver so I'd like to maximize comfort. Being lowered, however, I'd like to also maximize ground clearance. The best way to do that is to run 19s fat. With that said, since I am already on 20s, I am not sure if I can go back "down" to 19s but the thought has crossed my mind more than once.
19s "regular", 19s "fat", 20s are all good for different people with different needs and tolerances. Although it might be hard, it is best to see if you can bum a ride off a local person with a similar setup that you are looking for. This includes rim/tire sizes, coilovers/shock-springs, braces, ...
