Status RR6 = Ruff Racing 279

Are they same company and wheels? Just curious. Assuming that RR means Ruff Racing. Did they change or one buy the other one out? Just getting some info for future wheels!

SAME COMPANY..status is the chrome...ruff is the "tuner"...based in florida..

Far as I know they're the same wheels, they certainly look the same. I bought these wheels from D2 (waiting on delivery) but I searched around first, D2 is the only place I found them under the name Status RR6, everywhere else they were called Ruff Racing 279. I suspect the "RR6" stands for Ruff Racing 6 spoke.
