20x9.5 Front for Second Gen GS
Well, I got my answers regarding offset for flush fitment for a 20x11 in the rear. Thanks for everyone that helped out.
Now, the same question for the front on a 20x9.5. I did an extensive search on the 20x9.5 setup and it appears that it is a 40 offset (255 width). Is this about right or am I way off base?

20x9.5 +40 is about as far IN as you want to go or the wheel will hit the suspension upright.
Here is 20x9.5 +35 I tested recently. It is at the threshold of pain for this car... it could probably go out a few more millimeters, but the issue is keeping the tire from hitting the fender when turning into driveways. We did quite a bit of cutting and testing to make sure this works. This tire is a 255/35-20. A narrower tire stretched on the 20x9.5 would make the clearance issues less difficult. The new front tires for my set-up will be 255/30-20
The fenders are 'pulled' slightly in this photo and the lip is completely cut-off; additionally, I had to photo-shop out a few details because the car is not ready to be seen yet!

Thanks for the help, I am nearly done with my analysis and will be ordering a set of wheels from Derrick soon. If a 20x9.5 35 offset will work up front with modifications, what rear wheel sizes will be consistent with the look for the front? For example, I am planning on going with a 20x11 45 offset for the rears, will the 20x9.5 35 offset up front be consistent with the flush setup in the rear or should I go with something closer to 40 offset?
I would rather not do a major pull on the fronts, maybe something minor. I also believe you were running the 20x9.5 40 offset and it appeared to me to be flush with the fender - am I correct?
