Hi guys. I am new here but have been a long time member of supraforums and syty.net. You guys are big into rims so i figured this was a good place to ask this. The rims i have on the supra are having issues. The chrome is peeling off them for whatever reason. They are not too bad right now but will be very shortly. Three of the wheels have minor scuffs on the lips. I got a quote of $350 per wheel to strip/repair and rechrome. I am debating if i should have this done or just buy a new set of wheels. The rims we have now are gfg gf-1's and ran us a lot of $$$. I am so upset that a company can charge so much for rims and this is what happens to them. Anyway I am a bit hesistant having them rechromed. On our typhoon we had the stock rims chromed and they bubbled in about a year. I am nervous this will happen to these if they are rechromed. What would you do?
