Are the tires already mounted on the wheels?Because i dont think a 235 tire will fit on a 9.5inch wheel, even if it did i doubt itll look good, but the 265 is not a prob. Another thing you need to know is how much of a backspace there is on the wheels. That tells you how the wheels will sit on the car, either stickin out too far or sitting to far inside like the stock ones. I myself have 19x8.5 F 255/35/19 and 19x9.5 R 275/35/19. My opinion, if your able to go to your friend and put the wheels on and see how they fit. Cuz i wouldnt wanna take that chance to buy um and have it look stupid LOL

without offsets no one can tell you anything. fitting 9.5 in the front is doable, but have to be a bit careful on the offset

and honestly, wouldn't it be very funny to have 9.5 wheels front and back, front tires so stretched and rear a bit stretched?

would I run into problems with the width being 10mm narrower for the front wheels?

I agree it would look odd to have stretch in the front and none in the back

235/35/19 is barely a stretch at all on 19x9.5 I'm running the same setup on the front of my SC right now. I'll be going 225/35/19 for more stretch next time.

235 is still within spec.

i thought my 235 on 9in were stretched. when you get your 225's, please post a pic. i wanna see how much your wheels will "poke" out of your tire.

what do you think would be the ideal size for tires if I purchased a new set?
wheels are 19.5 front and back, (have to get the offset..)
the car is stock and not lowered(no plans to).

I was thinking of 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear
any suggestions for a better fitment than this?

haha wheels are 19.5? damn that's wide

j/k, 9.5, 245 is going to be scretched up front, and 275 is pretty ok for it

second thought, if they are the same wheel front and back, why not just use the same 255 tires all around? unless you have true staggered wheels, i don't suggest running different tires.

why do you advise against running different tires?
so you would recommend 255/35/19 all around? any issues with rubbing up front with a 255 wide tire with 9.5 wide rim?

any recommendations on what kind of tires whether I go for the 255/35/19 all around or the staggered setup? I live in NY and will prob be using a dedicated set of winter tires/wheel..

im also considering a set of pilot sport a/s since the threadwear is almost double of the 'summer only' pilot sports and I wouldnt get in too much trouble if I dont swap to winter tires right away when it starts getting cold out...
most likely I will be ordering from costco since they include lifetime balancing/rotation/road hazard guarantee...
I like discounttiredirect since I ordered pilot sports from them in the past and they replaced tires through the road hazard program without any hassles...

as far as the road hazard plan comparisions...
discount tire replaces the tire completely and you need to purchase a new 'tire certificate" each time($25 and they didnt require me to ship the tire back)
costco does a pro-rated adjustment(special order tires, so prob will get replacements as fast as discounttire)

price wise, costco is about $80 when u include tax and all... but its more than made up by all the free balancing/rotation/road hazard guarantee...(they used to offer free rotation on all tires but now they only service tires bought from them)

i think the ps2 tires have a 'inside' and 'outside" section...(with different threadblocks on each side...)(not sure about the other pilot sport models)
so with a staggered setup id pretty much be screwed as far as rotation goes right?

Quick Reply: would 19x9.5 wheels w/ 235/35/19F & 265/30/19R work on the sc430?
