Default Stretched tires...

I'm currently running 19's 9F and 10R. 245/35/19 F and 275/30/19 R. Since the rear is 10" wide, the tires really stretched - almost riding on the side wall (looks really nice though). The front too, but not as bad. So I question if my rims are more prone to get damaged from the lip being more exposed?

I'm at the lowest position in the front with my Tein CS, and at heavy dips it scrapes the fenders.

Should I change the front to 235/35/19 or change the rear to 285/30/19?

I would say change to a 235/35....since that would be the correct diameter tire to go with the 275/30. Also you might not rub then.

what tires are you running? i use Bridgestones and the rears are slightly stretched. i run 235 on 9 inches, now that is stretched, but within manufacturer's specs. looking at my ruler, 245 on 9's stretches more than 275 on tens.

with 235's i have to baby my wheels, and i check the pressure every week. i have my fronts running 35 psi.

by exposing more of the lip of course it's easier to damage the wheels, that's a given

if you change to 235 in the front, stay with 275 in the rear.

19x9 and 19x10 I run 225 and 245 to provide better clearance. No problems.

Honestly, when I'm running high dollar wheels I am extremely careful not to curb my wheels whether I am stretching or not.

Wow! Pics? I thought I my tires were stretched.

Here's my setup...

Looks like I'll go 235/35/19 in the front since being that stretched is normal, and it'll be nice not to rub anymore.

I would go with 245-35-19 and go with 285-30-19 for the rear.

Also as for streched look, it also has to do with type/brand of tire you have. Bridgestone S-03 and Dunlope Sport Maxx have strong/thick side wall so even with 245's on on 9 inch width rim, it does not look stretched but if you go with Toyo's or Falken, it will look stretched. Different tires have look different even with sames size wheel.

Tires are Dunlop SP9000. I'll most likely replace the front tires with 235/35 to eliminate the rubbing issue.

That will have streched look. I personally like little streched looked but not too much.
