Default Need Help picking rims... Poll

Car is a 2002 GS300 SportDesign in black.

I've been looking at either Status RR6s or Axis Milanos. Need opinions on both, and recomendations if you have them for rims $2500 and under.

Thanks for the help!

Axis Milano

Status RR6

D2, hope you don't mind I swiped a picture. Either way these rims are coming from you.

Hey, were we separated at birth? I went back and forth between these same two wheels myself, I was all but sold on the Milanos but in the end went with the RR6 , primarily because I see the Milanos around way too much, they're beautiful rims but I don't want to see them everywhere I go. For me the RR6 has a bit more exclusivity, indeed I don't think I've seen anyone wearing those at all.

As for color you didn't mention your choice but I think they both come in hypersilver or chrome, in hypersilver the Milanos look better to me, the RR6's look dullish in silver. Chrome seems pretty even up. I chose the RR6's in gunmetal, my GS is Alpine Silver and I like the look of the gunmetal. I think the gunmetal would look sharp on your black GS as well, but that's just a personal thing. I wish I could share some pics but I just placed my order with Stefan at D2 this week so it'll be awhile before I get the wheels. Good luck whichever way you go, can't go wrong either way.

Yea the first one looks nice, also looks like the lexion 203's

I think jkash is still selling his lexions type 203 for $2800 in triple chrome GS offset. That is a good deal you should look into

Thanks folks. I think I'm going to go with the Milanos. I don't think I could go wrong with either one.

The Lexions mentioned are rims only. I can get the Milanos with new skins for $2500.

Looks like Steph is going to get a call tomorrow! LOL

Out of those two, I'd go for the Milanos.
