Default For those of you who need tires....19's and soon to be 20's

I needed some tires for my new 19's I got in a couple of weeks ago and I am a big fan of Nitto's but did some research and read all the reviews on this General UHP tire that Continental/General tire came out with. I was a bit skeptical because of the price but it seems like alot....and I mean alot of people like these tires. They actually got the highest rating in all the surveys on all the tires they carry in the high performace arena.

They are WR speed rating.......380 wear rating.....AA traction rating.....A temp rating

Anyways....I bought a set of 235/35/19's and 275/30/19 all for $584 shipped. Dam cheap for 19's. I read that they will be adding 11 more sizes to there line this year so 20's are probably in the horizon.

If anyone is wondering why I went with 235's instead of 245's.....it's because the 235 and 275 tires are both 25.5" diameter. The 245 is 25.8"

I had those in 235/40/18 on the front of my SC. I just bought 19's and plan on using them again. Still debating sizes wheels are 9" front and 10.5" rear. another member nate579 has them also.

My car wasn't daily so I can't make a good assesment but they weren't too loud and I had some camber wear due to my drop but they did much better than the bridgestone's I had on there. They were a lot better than I thought they would be.

That is a good price for a complete set in the sizes mentioned. I will have to look into these for my car.
