Default Quick tire question....

This for my Benz. I am running 255/35/20 all the way around.....20x8.5 rims I believe.
My 2 rear tires are very worn and need replacing though. Can I run 245/35/20 in the rear with the 255's up front, or is having 2 different tire sizes not recommended?

put the 255 in the back, and put 245 in the front

it's rwd, funny to have narrower tires in the back

but why though, why not put on 255?

I have always had some really bad uneven wear on the rear tires.....the inner parts of the tires are bald and the outsides take 2x as long for that to happen. I was told it is possible the tires were rubbing something (although I doubt that). Also, I heard from Tire Rack that 255 was too aggressive a setup.....I had got the 255 originally because I wanted the 20's on tires that were proportionate. What do you think? Maybe just needs a realignment? I have gone through alot of tires with this car.

well you can always do an alignment especially if it's been a while

and for sure put the 255 in the back to wear it out, and put 245 in the front

also, if the tires are directional, you can always swap the left and right tire so you can get more even wear on the tires
