Default Quick question 235\35\20 vs 245\35\20

Hey guys I'm wondering if there is a drastic difference between the sidewall heights with a
235\35\20 or 245\35\20 mounted on a 20 x 8.5 wheel.

I realize going with a 235 can help with the rubbing issue most 20inch riders are faced with
but I don't wanna be sitting on rubberbands dodging potholes and dips in the road

Does anyone have any pictures they can reply with..

Thanks in advance!!

the sidewall height is 3.5mm difference, but they are both on 8.5 so the 235 will be a bit stretch, giving it another 1mm or so different. figure about 5mm less in overall sidewall height imho.

Rominl**would the 235/35/20 be a better combination with 275/30/20 rear. For visual appearances? would both front and rear tires have the same side wall height??

teachnically on the sidewall, the 235/35/20 and 275/30/20 are better match. but personally? i don't think the difference is that dramatic. if possible i would still put 245 in the front or 285 in the rear

for example on my sc430, i am running 255/35/20 and 285/30/20. the sidewall on the front tires are taller, but i you just look at teh car, i dont' think you will notice it
