hey guys, well i haven't been back here for a while. i had a 1993 gs300 and used this site all the time, but about a year ago i sold it. but once again i am the proud owner of a 2002 gs300 and am in the process of fixing her up. the question i have is i purchased a set of 20 x 8.5 wheels and 255/35/20 tires but when i had them mounted the tires looked big on the rims. now mind you i'm waiting for the springs to arrive before i put them on, but i see a lot of people running 245/35/20. my old lexus had the 255's and looked fine. i'm trying to get your guys opinion on the matter and if anyone has pic's of their car with 255/35/20 that would be awesome. i'll be lowering the car 1.2 in the back and 1.9 in the front do you think this will be enough to close the wheel gap? thanks for all the help!!!

255/35/20 is a bit tall but you are fine. on 8.5 rims personally i think 245 is the best but 255 should be no problem. it seems "big" to you could be the fact that they are different brand and model, they are not all identical.
