I'm running 19's now staggered and I was hoping if someone could tell me if it would be okay to use my regular 17' spare?

I can't remember. Do you have a BBK? That would be an issue if it does not fit the 17s. Otherwise, as long as the diameters are still close, it should be OK for short term. I would not drive too aggressively though.
