Question New input on a set of 20" wheel and tires

i am looking at a set of 20" ADR Monello
http://www.craigslist.org/sby/pts/107748218.html

for the tire, i am thinking to go with 245/35/20.
my car has most of the stock parts except a set of drilled rotor .
Is there any conern i should know about?

i saw some said ADR wheels are sucky rims, true?
any input/suggestion is welcome.

cheers,

I've seen similar wheel designs like that ADR. I must say, the price sounds like an excellent deal for chrome wheels. The only thing that I would check is to make sure that these wheels are not discontinued. I would hate to buy the set and no way to replace in the case of any damages.

I don't know anything about ADR so you may want to do a quick search to make sure they don't have prpoblems with the chrome flaking.

As far as the Tires, that size should work. Maybe go with 30 series in the rear.

Not my style at all.. you might be careful on what you select... why don;t you chck around and see what CL members are getting for their wheels on GS...
well, if you like it, go for it.

havent heard alot of good things about ADR but if it fits your budget go for it...i personally rather see you lower the car with the stock wheels...i think that would look better and cost about the same...good luck!

If that's your black GS in the sig I say you lower it on stock rims for now and save up for something brushed with a chrome lip or high polished forged aluminum.

Here are some wheels I like on black GS'...They cost a little more but its better to do it right the first time. (It took me a year before I finally decided. When I came onto CL I was looking at a set of Zenetti rims. )

HRE 540R (VERY VERY Expensive) I recommend iFORGED. Same quality, lower price, less prestige.

Take it from Neo! He (and RominL) helped me buy my tires. And patiently answered a ton of questions!
