Default what size rims

Can you guys give me some opinions on this wheel. I am looking for something similar to the look on the white sc that has the WALD plate on the front of it. I think the wheel goes welI with the lines of the vehicle. I found this OZ opera Patent lip in Toronto. Also what size should I go with. I like the stock look as far as size is concerned and thought maybe I could use my run flats. I was then thinking of putting snows on my dinner plates. Any advise you can give me would be greatly appreciated.Getting the last 05 white/ecru in Canada next week. Coming from Vancouver to Toronto. I can't wait.

Thanks all

thanks,

Would 9 or 10 width stick out from the body or would it be flush and what is the deal with spacers? Is there a place on this site where Ican learn the basics about wheel configirations?Sorry for the newbie questions.

I have WORK DH 19's (diamond polish) on my silver SC and they are definitely a head turner. I went with aftermarket rubber also, as the run flats did not provide the same ride as the yokohama that I put on my SC. I would also recommend looking into some coilovers and drop the car a few inches, I am using the Tein system.

Hope this helps some.

depending on the offset will also affect if it looks flush or not.

hey silv- a couple inches? how low do you think just to tuck a little bit of tire or be right about to. I was thinking of 1.5" springs

Tony...If i am not mistaken...i think i have mine 2" in front and 1" in the back. just dont quote me on that. but, it does give my SC an aggressive look.

yes it's all about offset. with the right offset, you can even do 9 and 11 and it won't stick out. the sc430 is that nice. read the tire/wheel forum, i have a sticky up whee you can learn a lot on wheels

i don't think 1.5" is enough to tuck the wheels. the stock wheel gap is big

Wow,
thanks for all the replies. Here is the thing I can get these OZ racing Opera 2 for a good price because they are old stock (4 years old)and are in Toronto (3 days shipping). The WORK Ryver DT3 will cost Me Almost 35% more and will take atleast 5 weeks to get. Does anyone know anything about OZ racing? The only thing I am worried about is the sensor. No one here knows what to do with it. Some shops don't want to touch it. Others tell me they will install new stems and I will have to live with the warning light. Will this effect my warranty. What do you guys do?

OZ makes good quality wheels. A lot of Subaru owners use OZ wheels for street and track application. Was watching Rides the other day and the Corvette Racing team uses OZ wheels also. I think it will be a high quality wheel, maybe not the "JDM whoo" like Work, but 35% price difference is pretty significant.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, does OZ make Hammans?

I just put 19"s on my gfs car and kinda wish we went with 20"s now. The fendor is just so huge can you stick monsters in there.

I would even look at the member classifieds and see what is available. Unfortunately I discovered this forum after we placed the order for wheels. Yes Work wheels 6 week wait.

You could probably fit 21's but since you wouldnt be able to lower the car, it will look VERY funny! Even a stock height SC with 20's looks like a pregnant vehicle, so please go 20s and lower. Of course, your money your choice at the end of the day!

with 21s, when you make turns, it's going to rub the front and back side of the wheel well very badly
