Any experience with Dunlop SP Sport 01 A?
Looking at 19" tires in the sizes I need, I seem to find a lot of bad reviews regarding high levels of noise. That is definitely a red flag for me as I despise road noise from tires. Tire Rack doesn't have any posted reviews on the SP Sport 01 A, but I found a couple other individual reviews on the web and they were pretty positive, praising the lack of road noise. Anyone here have any experience with them?

Well, I got 'em. Initial impressions are that the ride is great for 19s -- pretty much as smooth as the factory setup. Handling is improved, though I don't have enough miles on 'em yet to try to qantify. Road noise is higher than the near-silent Bridgestone Turanza ER33 that came stock on the car. The Dunlops don't roar at all, but there's a little more of the 'static' type noise. So far, I don't think it's going to be a problem (and I'm very picky about road noise in tires). More miles will tell.
BTW, I have access to a dB meter and I intended to make measurements on the stock tires and then on the 19s, but it's been raining every afternoon/evening (would have interfered with the measurements due to the water noise), and I was itching to install the 19s. Maybe I'll swap them back out and do that measurement later...
