Default SC300: 19" rear 18" front?

Hows it look? If anyone has pics of 18rear, 17front would be good for reference as well.

I'd love to go 19's on my SC, but there is simply too much wheel for the slim profile of the front of the vehicle. This type of setup looks great and is not noticeable on Corvettes and a couple other cars, wondering how it will look on an SC.

Suppose I can photoshop it but im lazy

Ughhh.... looks like a Hot Wheels car from the 1970s. All you need is the blower sticking out of the hood!

Staggered diameter wheels belong only on C5 Corvettes, Saleen S7s and NSXs (these cars came with different diameter wheels front & rear) or 60s hot rods.

I don''t get it- you end up with 245/40-18 front (fairly tall sidewall) and 275/30-19 on the rear (about as low-profile as you can get.). If you're worried about bending the wheels, fine, maybe you'll only bend the rear wheels... I would go 18 front/ rear or 19 front/rear (actually, I would go 20" front/rear).

But the hot rod look? Not my cup of tea.

That doesn't look bad at all. Nice car gadgetSC! Thank you for sharing that.

What irked me on the 19" and 20" sizes on the SC is that the rear looks great...but the great design of the front of the car is overpowered by the massive wheel

I am torn on this set-up as well.... I have always liked it. It seems to make economic sense as well since a staggered set-up cannot be rotated, having 18" up front can save $$ when buying new tires.

Wish there were more actual pics to view of various style rims to truly appreciate this set-up.
Good post.

Any others with pics of this set-up?

must have proper size on the newer rides. Otherwise the abs/vsc will come on due to the differect F & R wheel rotation / speed.
