Default GS300 Wheels

I'm looking at new wheels for my 1999 GS300. I friend of mine is seller rims with tires and I was wonder if they would fit my GS. They are 19 x 7.5, 5x114.3 and have an offset +42. The tires are 215/35/19.

yea they will fit, but why bother. the gs 17s are 17x8 +50 with 235 and it's so much better than the setup you mentioned. the setup you have it's more like for is300 (and still it's very weak for that car)

Default Thanks

I thought it sounded like it wouldn't make much of a difference. I would like to go to 18 or 19s but I don't want to shave or drop anything. I currently have OEM 17s on the car. What would a conservative setup be for 19s?

at the top of this forum i put up a sticky on all the firment requirement, you can take a look there for what setup is good for you.

if you get the right offset, you won't need to shave anything for sure. and the car always looks better lowered, even with 17s

and if you have stock 17s already, there is absolutely no reason to go to the setup you mentioned
