Default What are the consequences?

What are the major consequences of rolling on 3 rims that are 17'' and 1 front rim that is 16''. They are SSR Integral A2, but since SSR no longer manufactures the A2 in 17, I do not want to buy 3 new 16' rims. Not only would they be smaller, but what will I do with the three 17's. Nobody will want to buy them. Is there really a problem with driving on one 16' rim in the front, while the other 3 are 17? The rims are staggered BTW, so the rear rims are larger than the fronts. I know there has got to be alignment issues with driving on one smaller rim, but how severe is it really? i.e., does driving with one smaller rim really put the car out of alignment that much quicker than normal?

haha, yea. I kept the small one on the right front (when they were on) and after letting go of the wheel The car would head straight for the most part, but eventually it would tail off right. But I'm curious as to how that really affects alignment. On paper, its obviously doesnt seem like a good idea, but technically?

buy 2 16" rims for the front and have the other 17" as a spare.

hmmm...hadn't thought of that. Not sure how much i like the look of 17's in the back and 16's in the front.
smaller wheels in the front would definetely look better if the rear was 18 and the fronts 17. But with 16's, not sure how it would look. I might have to just do that. Thanks for that tip, hadn't actually thought of that.
