Question i have a question about tire size and measuring.......

ive been trying to find a tire to replacement for my rear tire (225/45/18) because my previous original tire got slashed (255/35/18) and that tire fit perfectly..... i went to discount tires today and found a (275/35/18). My question is the (275/35/18) tire too wide or can it fit? The sizing in the rear is about (18 x 9 or 18 x 9.5).....

Thanks for your help!

how wide is your wheel? There are plenty of us who are running 275's in the rear.

275 should be fine. I'm running 265 Pirelli's they are just as wide as the Khumo 275's I had.

Yup Quite a few of us have the Supra TT wheels on our cars and the rear wheels are 9 1/2" wide. We all run 275's
