are the wheel offsets and sizes compatible for the 2nd and 3rd gen gs

Default are the wheel offsets and sizes compatible for the 2nd and 3rd gen gs

was just wondering how iforged wheels made for the 2nd gen gs will fit on the 3rd gen one...... they are 20's........

i am not sure if anyone confirmed this already but from what i have read so far (limited), they should be pretty close

The rear are similar. According to one poster, the fronts can accommodate a bit more aggressive offset. Other than this one testimony, I don't have any other data and there is no data disproving it.

Whether or not this is the case, it will still mean a wheel fitting a 2GS will fit a 3GS.

the only thing i can think of is of course bbk clearance. you need to make sure the wheels on 2gs clears the brakes on the new 3gs430

so the back should be fine, the only thing i have to worry about is the front clearning the brakes........... thanks for all the help

And that would only be on the GS430. Still, having bbk clearance up front is a good thing if you ever plan to upgrade the brakes.
