Polished? Charcoal? or Black? finish HREs
Hey Guys,
Was wondering if you could help me decide on the types of finish to get on my HRE's. I'm gettin the 547Rs and with a platinum silver SC, which should i go for? polished? chrome? black? or charcoal?
here's the car
rim with polished?
rim with black?
or rim with charcoal?
i'm kinda torn between these three because i kno the polished would look great on the car, but I do plan on gettin carbon fiber pieces in the future (hood and trunk/spoiler) not gonna paint em, sorta goin for a contrast of black/carbon fiber look with the silver blue. Anyways, that's another reason why i'm stuck between the charcoal and black... charcoal is awesome but i feel it wouldn't match too well with the blackness of the CF pieces. For example, in the car pic you can see my sidemarkers are smoked already.
Thanx for your opinions.

I think charcoal would look better if you plan on doing a lot of CF. The only problem I see is that most people see the dark wheels as a fad and now you can see the "ghetto" bling cars with black wheels. The other day I saw a big impala with some 23" or 24" black wheels. Absolutely hated it and now am glad I didnt order my wheels in the charcoal finish.

yea true true on the black/darker face fad thing happening. if only i was good at photoshopping, anyways if the polished rims would still look good with the carbon fiber pieces, it's only gonna be like hood and trunk/spoiler, not doin more than that, then i'll just go with polished.
thanx guys,
if ya still have more feedback, let em fly!

Anthony,
I like the charcoal because your color is very light.
Call me biased, but brushed is actually my favorite.
On another note, give me a call if you wanna have your car be one of the demo vehicles for the meet below
