Default Need new 235/45/17 tires

I need to order new tires for 98'ES300. We are in SF Bay Area. It is my wife's car who is not an agressive driver at all. Her preferences in order are-

1) Great dry, and reasonably good Wet traction
2) Ride comfort and noise
3) Tread wear
4) Performance

Based on reviews @ tirerack, I've short listed the following tires-

AVON Tech M550 A/S 360AAA 28lbs @ $106
BFGoodrich Traction T/A H&V 440AAA 25lbs @ $117
Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S 400AAA 24lbs @ $131

Need your advise...

I would go with either the Avon Tech M550 A/S:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

OR...

The Falken Ziex ZE-512:

http://www.falkentire.com/tires_512.htm

Those 2 before the others you mentioned as they are the best value available in your size & fit the bill to a tee with what you stated you are looking for in a tire for your wife.
Let us know what you decided & good luck!

Thanks for suggestions Lexusfreak.

I was looking at Falken's as well but the problem was not available @ tirerack. I found out that these are available @tires.com at good price with free shipping as well. I might go with these. Is that a good source to buy from?

I know a few places here in Canada, but not in the U.S. Make some calls for both brands (Avon & Falken) & shop around. That Avon looks like really good value as well so don't take that off your list just yet & has also got very good reviews. Keep us posted on your decision & don't forget a 4 wheel alignment.
