Default Tire purchase recommendations

I am going to be buying new tires real soon. 245-35-20 and 275-30-20. I currently have Toyo T1s tires and the last set I bought hasnt lasted as long as the previous sets, maybe about 16k miles. I am looking for a tire that will have longer tread life and a nice tread pattern and good traction. I have been looking at maybe the Nittos or something along those lines. I would like to spend the least amount of $ as possible but at the same time I want to get a quality wheel. So please suggest what tires you have used and your thoughts on their tread life and traction.

I really like the T1s and have been using them for 3 years now. The last set was disappointing as far as treadwear. I dont know if it was a bad batch but I want something that will last me about 20k miles or more. What is the tread pattern like on the Pzero?

I have the sp9000 on my car now and they are a bit loud. I was thinking of trying the goodyear gs-d3's next once I wear out the sp9000's

Cool

How many miles can one expect to get from a 20" tire for that kind of money?

The sp9000 come with 11/32 tread depth. At 8,000 miles, my tread depth was 7/32. So based on a 3/32 minimum depth for state of NC, I'd estimate about 16,000. I have l-tune suspension and a 18" staggard setup. 245/40 F and 275/35 R I run with 40psi in all 4 tires. So far, it looks like I'm getting even wear across the whole tire.

I get about that maybe a little more with my toyos and I like the tread pattern a lot more. I guess I am going to stick with the Toyos after all

Default Michelin

You can expect 25-30K from the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S in these sizes as well as an excellent ride quality and great traction.

I'm running 245/45/17 as a winter setup on my car and agree with ride and handling of the tires.
Haven't figured out what kind of milage I will get with these yet. The only thing I don't like is that michelin tends to be a little larger in overall diameter vs other brands. I get a slight rub on the right front side when the wheel is turned all the way to the left. No Issues with my sp9000 245/40 in front

i would only buy the t1s personally as its my favorite tire,,,,,,,,,the nitto nt555 will last about the same though is much noisier,,,,,,,,,nitto and toyo are the same company just in case u didnt know, but you definately will not be happy with the nt555 coming from the t1s, doesnt look as good, ride as good, and is louder,,,,,,,,,,,,the only one i would consider trying is the michelin but they are crazy high
