D2-AUTOSPORT 2005 Project Car - Teaser Shot
Hey Guys, just wanted to share a quick pic of our 2005 Project Vehicle, its a 2004 Lexus LS430. The vehicle is owned by CL member KIDCAPP, the aesthetic & dynamic improvements are courtesy of D2-AUTOSPORT. This vehicle is the result of a lot of research, trial and error and more research.
I will do a full writeup on the vehicle, as soon as we can arrange a photoshoot, but for now enjoy the appetizer.

I actually made a few offers behind the scenes, but kidcapp was pretty much the most in line with the vision that we had for the vehicle. Please do not operate under the assumption that kidcapp got all these parts for free in exchange for "slapping our sticker on his car and going to some shows" (which is the proposal I have received on many occasions LOL). While promotinal consideration was given in exchange for representing D2-AUTOSPORT, but no parts were "given" away.
We actually consulted with him prior the vehicle purchase, with the intent of pursuing the project vehicle. There were many considerations, from Porsche Cayenne S, to Range Rover, to the Celsior. From a all around standpoint, the LS was the best choice and I am very pleased with the end result.
As far as next project vehicles, there are a few considerations out there now. Other than the SC430, or the 3rd Gen GS (when parts become readily availible), there's no other Lexus vehicles we are looking to enhance, (already have a 2nd Gen, and consulted on nextlevelcoupes 1st Gen SC)
