Default 18s with fat tire setup --- Will they fit?

Will these fit a 2003 GS430 w/ l-tuned suspension, with out doing any body mod? Is there even a chance that they might rub? https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=145333

Thanks much.

I believe its a 1-1.2 inch drop, maybe a little lower in the back. I am looking at 245/45 for Front and 275/40 for Rear

The front tires will rub a little when turning and backing up. With +37 front and +42 rear, they are nice offsets for the GS, not too aggressive and not too conservative. With the fronts, it is just something you have to put up with since the wheel diameter is about 1" larger than spec.

My cousin has a set of Momos (not sure on offsets since he did not ask me about issues before getting it ) running the 18s "faaaat" setup with no lowering. He rubs in the cases I mentioned too.

No. The rubbing I was talking about is because of the out of spec diameter. With this setup, you are back to spec and should be fine.

As far as the wheels, the only rubbing that MIGHT happen is if you are REALLY lowered and on dips, you'll hit the top of the wheel liner plastic. With the L-Tuned, though, you will be fine.
