If 22" can't fit you answered your question as to what the biggest size that fits is.

I'm not trying to be a smart ***, just bored so I thought I'd drop my $0.02.

I would not go beyond 21" because it would degrade ride quality and would most likely cause rubbing issues if you don't do any modifications to your fenders/wheel wells.

For the width of the rears, it all depends on offsets, disk setup, type/size of tire, and if you're going to lower the car or not. Just to be safe, I wouldn't go wider than a 10.

With the tire sizes availible today, you can put 22s on a baby-stoller if you want! The question is how will it look. I think even 21's is pushing it for the 2004 LS. Maybe if you choose the right wheel design and a really nice drop, you can pull off 21's. Tire sizes are very limited, and I dont think a LS can handle a 295/25-21 (the only staggered rear tire size that I'm aware of currrently).

Good luck

i agree, even 21 is pushing it, you have to get the right one to looks good. 20s are more "normal". and 22s, forget it

for the width, i think the ls430 is even less aggressive than the 2gs, so i think 9.5 or 10 in the back with 275 will probably max out already

22's will fit with the right tire. The shop that I deal with just did a set of 22" D'Vinci Blade's on a '05 LS 430, and it looked sick!!! I am not a big fan of 22's on cars, but I gotta tell ya, WOW.

Leave the 22s for the guys with the 745s, that is a big enough car to support the 22s. But I would only do 20s on the LS. Anything else will look too big for the car, IMHO

We have Lowenhart if you need

22" will fit with right profile tires ONLY

BUT riding quality over 19" will be rough, do consider that if the car is a daily driven one

lol, 22's on a 25 series tire looks good, or just go with a 20 and drop.
