Default IS rims on GS??????????????

what would you guys think of puting IS rims on a BLk 2000 GS, (the polished ones) is there anyone with those rims on i want to see what they look like, how are the offsets, and widths, etc....
i think they are 215/45/17, like the stock 215/60/16 for the GS, so let me know, i cant find STOCK GS400/430 rims chromed, so these are the closest ones, what do you guys think,????

rocker28 had them in the past, but he took it off

yes it looks ok, but imho it's a waste. the rims are so narrow, the tires are narrow, and the offset is way too high for the car. the wheels are very inset when put on the 2gs

18" HP Evo's will run you about $500-600 a set no tires.. very economical but looks good imo. find them on ebay or just about any online wheel site.

okay, do you know or does anyone know who makes the HP rims, i like them but never heard of them, i admire the HRE's but to big for my budget for now, so any other opinions, as far as mesh design, goes i like the HRE 540, and 840 so are there any replicas or similar companies that have them

sorry i ddon't have any info on the quality of HP Racing wheels. there's a set of 19" HP Evo in the wheel classified section https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=155568 you could PM the seller for more info. also you should visit the groupbuy section in the ClubLexus Vendor Marketplace.. several wheel vendors there with tons of excellent choices of wheels for the Lexus. they will help you find what youre looking for in your price range. good luck!

I heard iForged make great wheels and are cheaper (pricewise) than HRE's. I dont know by how much though and a couple of the wheels looks pretty close to the HRE's too.

If memory serves, 18 HRE 540R series (GS fitment) are between 1200-1400/wheel. iForged are 850-1000/wheel whereas the HPs are few hundreds for all 4 as khhoang stated above. The HEW and iForged prices are list so you can get them a bit cheaper. Still, there is a leap going from HP to the others. The iForged and HRE prices seem close but once you add up options and price out 4, the difference can buy a set of HP wheels.

It only gets worse for 19s and 20s.

gezzz, i should get in the business of making Iforged wheels reasonable for people to buy, hahahahah
well, though i forged look supurb, they are costly, and for a college student who feeds off parents, its a bit hard to do, so HP's look like a good deal but i dunno if they are to cheep to put on a GS, i was considering the 06 Spider ones , like the white GS by Sewell so which one would you guys choose, i like the mesh look so dunno which one to go for,,,,,,,,
fill me in thanks

I'd need to see both in person but through pics, I actually like the traditional looks of the HP mesh better. The shape of the Spider mesh spokes does not appeal to me.
