Default best buy tires for wet on 1999LS400

hi dear bubs,

i'm truly a newbie in cars and here. my only knowledge on car is:Lexus is the best overall.

i need to buy a replacement car because i had an accident which was mainly caused by the tires. after the accident, i'm very afraid of wet weather.

does anybody have any idea on the best buy tires which perform well in wet condition for 2000LS400?

thanks and best regards

(BTW: i'm trying to pick a Lexus:https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho....php?p=1225401 any input will be very halpful)

Cool

Red,

What tire brands do they carry in HK? I ask because you you are unable to purchase an Avalon in your part of the world, perhaps certain tire brands aren't offered either. Let me know & I can better help you out. I suggest either Goodyear Triple Treads, Falken Ziex ZE-512, Michelin Hydroedge. There might be others.......let me know. & what is the exact tire size you need?

1 thank you so much for your kindness. i'm a real newbie in car. although i have been driving for many many years, i almost know nothing about maintainence.....

2 in HK, i have heard about the names of goodyear, bridgestone, michelin, yokohama and may be falken

3 i just checked with the authorized Toyota and Lexus agent, they don't carry(don't inport) Avalon or Crown.

Thank you again.

Make sure you get the correct speed rating your LS is rated for. That information should be on the door jamb on the drivers side door.....if not, check your owners manual for more info. Keep us posted on what tires you get & good luck.

thank you so much for your input in this. we have finally bought the 2000LS400 and we were given a full set of Michelin new tires. I was told that the Michelin are really comfortable for Lexus.

thanks and best regards
