What tire sizes have you tried on your OEM GS 17"s??

Hey guys,

I was just wondering what tire sizes people have put on their GS OEM 17"s. I know the stock size is 235/45/17 but I want to know what results people were getting with a 245/45/17 or other plus size tire. Any info on noise, ride quality, and performace would be great.

I have searched this forum but could not find any great answers.

I'm running 245/45/17 mich pilot sport all season during winter. Ride and noise are about the same as the original 235/45 dunlap sp5000's they replaced. As for handling, it seams the pilot sports are a litter better but I do notice a slight rub on the right front tire when I turn the wheel ALL the way to the left. I don't have that rubbing issue when I run my 245/40/18's up front. I suspect that it's because the p/s all season have a slightly larger diameter 25.9 vs 25.7 on the 245/40/18
