Need some Wheel and Tire Info
I just bought a Black/Black 2002 LS 430 and would like to upgrade the wheels and tires, was looking at both Lowenhart LD5's and L Sportline 4's in 18s and 19s. Would like some advice on if the ride quality differs much from the 18 to the 19 and if I should get the staggered rims or one size for all 4 rims and what tires would you recommend for a healty balance of performance and ride quality? Live in Texas so roads are pretty good here in Dallas. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I agree Hard to find replacement(s) if you bend the wheels in the future.

Thanks for the help. I think I will probably go with the 19's as this will be the wifes primary car. Thanks for the heads up on the LSportline, any other suggestions on wheels for my LS?

I know, only good thing is I get the next car and it will have the numbers 911 in it so I will suck it up for a few years. Question on staggering I guess if you have staggered you don't rotate your tires so I assume this will wear them down faster? Is staggering purely asthetic or is it performance based?

Rotating can still be done, but only 1-2 times (different process, must go to wheel shop to do)
As a few others have said, I really think the LS needs 20". Trust me, people always think 20s are bad, but with a car like the LS, a set of nice tires and that cushy factory suspension, you will barely feel it. I have seen people report that due to tire choice, the car rode BETTER with 20s than factory.
As for pricing, take the 19" price quotes you asked for and add 2-300 on average. I think WORK Euroline is perfect for what you are looking for.
