22's wont fit unless you do some cutting to your fenders and bumpers.

Bigger rims wont damage your tranny. You'll just get wrong readings on your Speedometer.

well first of all, i don't see how that will mess up your transmission. i would like to see proofs on why

second, don't do it. let's not talk about the look, i don't even think it's feasible. no matter what tires you put on it, it's going to be WAY over spec and your speedo will be way off. plus you can't even turn your steering wheel full anymore coz' it will hit front and back of the wheel well big time. plus you can pretty sure forget about lowering the gs, or even worse you might have to raise it up. looks aweful to say the least

if you already have 20s with a good drop, it should look very decent. even 21s are too big for the car already

Oh Man. Why did it have to be bronze?

Not trying to offend you or the owner of the car in the pic, but that does not look right to me. That 22" emblem on the side does not make it any better. Plus no drop but I guess with 22s, the car would not be as useful if it can't turn that well.

BUT, you think it looks right so since it is your car, I say go for it. By reading CL, you'd probably already know all the potential problems that you'll have to live with. At the end of the day, though, it is your call.

Good luck with the decision.

ouch! no drop, no body kit ...but if you really want to put 22s..its up to you. imo if you want 22s...get a 300c or bmw 745....I think those cars would match good with 22s..

Is your car lowered? If it isnt lowered then they wont look right. If your car is lowered 20s look perfect on the GS. 22s are for suvs and 745s.

Stop lying Neo, you know you are moonlighting as the BlingBlingKing of Cali!!! LOL Brushed iFORGED by day , 22" Chrome TSW by night!!! LOL

GSunit- as others have said, its your car man, and thats all that matters. Since you found that pic, you have probably gotten a look at the thread that jondoe started regarding 22's on a GS (I think it may have gotten closed). Maybe try this (might be easier on your car / wallet). Since you want that 'over the top' look, try a 20" wheel with a flat face and no lip in chrome, and then lower your car. I promise it will have the same "chromefordays" look. Donz has a new flat wheel with no lip, it might work for you (is not too bad on the pocket either - probably 2900-3100 with rubber).

Good luck with everything.

Like others have said it isnt the best idea for drivablitiy, but if you want 22s its your car and $$$. Personally, I dont think 21''-22'' rims look bad on the GS. You will have a hard time finding pics though, Ive only seen a couple GSs that were over 20''.

I saw one with 22", but on AIR suspension thought

but still, 20" is the max. I will recommend - don't forget to check out our Group Buy

dam, do we need to have this conversation every month, as stated many times before 22's just look ghetto on a gs and it just isnt right, go with staggered 20's and u cant go wrong
