Default how do I ship tires and wheels?

im trying to sell my set of SSR GT3 wheels and was wondering how i would ship them to the buyer? will the ups store have boxes specifically for tires? when they originally came from the tirerack, they were strapped and covered with round pieces of cardboard. any ideas? im just concerned about damage during transit. wish i could just sell them locally.

ive shipped rims and tires together for a friend which lives in washington. all i did was get boxes from the same place i bought the wheels and tires from. they were 17's with 40 series tires on them. so i used boxes that fit 22's and just tapped up the boxes, called UPS and put the pickup order in, then they came by the next following day and picked them up.

Wrap each wheel individually in bubble wrap. Go to U-Haul and buy 4 boxes. They have many sizes. Very cheap. Around $2-4 per box. Tape and ship them off at a UPS or FedEx counter. FedEx usually has cheaper ground shipping rates.

I've received two sets of aftermarket wheels on two different occasions from tire rack as you described and condition of both deliveries were perfect. If your shipping wheels with the tires mounted, why not ship the same way tire rack shipped to you? Should be ok. What's important is securing the cardboard on the front and back of each wheel to protect the rims.
