GS400 wheels on GS300

A wheel newbie question

Can you put the stock 98+ GS4 17" wheels on a 2000 GS3 (stock 16") without any problems?

Is this just a straight replacement?

yup they will fit fine. i think the 17s has slightly larger diameter but nothing dramatic

The early 16s that ran 215/60 actually had a larger diameter than the 17s (235/45), almost an inch.
